What and why?
Early on in the life of Pathomation, it became clear that in order to tackle the variety of use cases out there for digital pathology, we needed to build not just individual software, but components that could come together to build complete ecosystems. A big role in our platform is therefore reserved for our Application Programming Interfaces (or API for short). It all starts with an API.
On top of these APIs, you build SDKs. Because people don’t read WSDL too well 🙂 The idea for an SDK then is simple enough: take everything your API can do and build content for every call and every combination of parameters imaginable.
We reminisce more on the topic of APIs and SDKs in a seperate post on our RealData blog.
